1 General Program Questions

1.1 Which Kellogg's® products have codes printed on them and where do I find the code?

Codes are printed inside back panel of specially marked Kellogg’s® products while supplies last. Click here to see How It Works.

1.2 Are there any special rules for participation?

Yes. This promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, 6 years of age or older. For complete details, including eligibility criteria and promotion information, see the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program terms and conditions.

2 Registration and My Account

2.1 How can I register for the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program?

To register for the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program, go to www.kelloggs.com/CARS2 from either your computer or mobile phone (for applicable mobile phones, see section 8.1.

Computer: Click on Register/Login, follow the steps to Sign up today/Get started here, and create an account to access the promotion.

Mobile: Click on Register, complete the registration form to create an account to access the promotion. You must be 13 years of age or older to enter from a mobile phone.

Your e-mail address will be your unique registration identification that gives you easy access to product news, promotions and recipes from Kellogg's®. Once you have created an account you no longer have to repeat the registration process and can simply log in using your e-mail address and password. You can manage your account at any time on the Update Profile page.

2.2 What do I do if I am having password difficulties?

Please make sure the password you entered matches the e-mail address entered. All passwords are case-sensitive.

If you forgot your password, visit the 'Login' page to access the 'forgot your password' screen. Provide the e-mail address associated with your account on the 'forgot your password' page. An e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address with a link to your new password. After logging in with your new password, you can reset your password at any time on the Update Profile page. Your password for CARS 2 is not applicable to other programs from Kellogg.

Please make sure you have added kelloggs@eprizepromotions.com to your 'safe sender' list. If you did not receive an e-mail within 12 hours of submission, Contact Us. E-Mails are sent for completing an action (redemption, forgot password, update child's account, remove the child from the program) in the CARS 2 program.

2.3 Why do we ask for your birth date?

Web sites that are collecting personal information from children are required to comply with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Depending on your age, you may require parental permission prior to participating in the program. The Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program follows COPPA requirements. While this promotion is designed to be fun, we at Kellogg take COPPA and your child’s privacy very seriously.

2.4 Why are different e-mail addresses required to register kids for the CARS 2 program?

Websites that collect information from children are required to comply with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). To comply with the law:

  • We must protect children's "personally identifiable information," which includes their names and addresses.
  • We also must have proof of parental permission. When someone creates an account for a child under 13, we are required to ask for information from the parent.
  • The e-mail address used by the parent and child to register must be different. This allows the parent to give the child parental permission to participate in the program using their own e-mail address.
  • If you are uncomfortable with your child having their own e-mail address, we suggest you sign up for the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program using your e-mail address and participate together with your child. In this way, you and your child would have access to a single account.

If your child is under the age of 13 and has registered for Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program, you will receive an e-mail letting you know. Please make sure you have added kelloggs@eprizepromotions.com to your 'safe sender' list. We will also provide you with the opportunity to opt your child out of the promotion. Contact Us if you have not received an e-mail within 12 hours. E-Mails are sent for completing an action (redemption, forgot password, update child's account, remove the child from the program) in the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program.

2.5 My child is under the age of 13. How do I update my child's profile or opt my child out of the program?

As part of the registration process, your child is required to provide your e-mail address in addition to their own. You should have received an e-mail from us when your child registered for Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program containing information about opting your child out of the promotion and how to manage your child's account, and providing a link to do so. In addition, you may remove your child or update your child's information in Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure by clicking here and following the steps in the form.

E-Mails are sent for completing an action (redemption, forgot password, update child's account, remove the child from the program) in the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program.

2.6 Why do we ask for your mailing address?

A mailing address is required for Shipping and Fulfillment in the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program. We will not use your mailing address for purposes other than specified upon registration for a program. For more details, see our Privacy Policy .

2.7 Who can I contact to help me if I'm having trouble registering or logging into the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program?

Please review the e-mail address and password you have entered for accuracy. Writing down your e-mail address and password linked to your account is recommended. Contact Us if you are having trouble registering or logging into the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program.

2.8 Can I have multiple accounts?

Sorry, but no. There is a limit of one account per person.

2.9 Can I change my address?

You can use a different mailing address for each item redeemed or purchased. If you update the mailing address for a particular item, this will not update the address stored in your profile. You can update the address stored in your profile on the Update Profile page. Please note: you can only update your profile once you log in.

2.10 Can I update my e-mail address?

Sorry but no. You cannot update your e-mail address for the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program. Your e-mail address will be your unique registration identification that gives you easy access to product news, promotions and recipes from Kellogg's®. Please sign up with an e-mail address that you will use for the length of the program.

3 Code Entry and Point Balance

3.1 What are points, and how do I use them?

Points are the form of currency used for Kellogg's® Awesome Stuff and are deposited into your online account when you enter codes from specially marked packages of Kellogg’s® products. Points have no cash value and are non-transferable. Points can be used to redeem Awesome Stuff. See How it works for more details.

3.2 How do I know how many points I have in my account?

After you've logged in, your point balance will always be displayed on the top left corner of the page. You may also view your point balance at any time by visiting the My Account page of the promotional site. If you have additional questions about the point balance in your account, Contact Us

3.3 How are points deducted from my account?

If you redeem your points for an item, the corresponding number of points will be deducted from your point total.

3.4 Where can I enter my codes?

Log in to the CARS 2 home page and go to the Enter Codes page of the promotional site. You can also visit http://kelloggs.com/CARS2 from one of three smart phones, or download the desktop Widget. The list of smart phones is available in Section 8.1 of this FAQ. If you have any questions about the mobile site, please see Section 8 of this FAQ, or about the desktop Widget, please see Section 7 Desktop Widget of this FAQ.

3.5 What if my account balance doesn't seem accurate?

Please review the your account balance in My Account. Your 'Full Account History' will display all actions taken with your account. Each code is the equivalent of 1 point. If you believe after checking 'My Account' your account balance is not accurate, Contact Us.

3.6 How do I enter codes?

Codes can be entered 1 of 3 ways:

  1. Promotional Site, followed by the content.
  2. Desktop Widget, followed by the content.
  3. Mobile Site, followed by the content.
  • After registering or logging in to the promotional site, enter your CARS 2 code(s) on the Enter codes page and then click on the "Submit" button. Once you've submitted the code(s), the corresponding number of points will be deposited into your account. Each code is the equivalent of 1 point. For more detail, see How It Works.
  • First you will need to log in to the desktop Widget using your e-mail address and password used in Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program. Once you log in, you will be able to enter 1 16-digit code at a time. After you enter your code and click 'Submit', your account will add 1 point to your balance. You can also Contact Us if you see any error messages or have additional question about the Desktop Widget.
  • Log in to the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program from a mobile phone listed in Section 8.1. Visit the Enter Codes page of the mobile site. Enter your 16-digit code printed on the inside back panel of the Kellogg's® package. 'Submit' the code.

3.7 Do I need to enter the code exactly as it appears inside the package?

Yes. Enter the characters and digits in the same order as they appear inside the package. Codes are not case sensitive and spaces should not be used. For more detail, see How it Works.

3.8 I tried entering my code but received an error message. What should I do?

Please verify you have entered the code correctly. If you are still having problems, please Contact Us.

3.9 Is there a limit on how many codes I can enter?

Yes, there is a maximum limit of 8 codes you may enter per day and a maximum of 30 codes per the program period. See How it Works for more details.

3.10 What should I do if I cannot read the specially marked product code?

If you cannot read the code, please Contact Us for assistance. We can provide you instructions on how to proceed. Please hold on to the code since you may need to return it.

3.11 Is it necessary to keep the product package after I have entered the code?

We advise you to cut out the code from the product package as Kellogg's® reserves the right to request that any participant forward the original package(s) with the code(s) representing the points deposited in an account.

3.12 Can I convert my points into cash?

Sorry but no. Codes and their corresponding points have no cash value and are non-transferable. You may use points only to redeem Kellogg's® Awesome Stuff.

3.13 Do my points ever expire?

Yes. All points will expire at the end of the program on 6/30/2012. Codes and their corresponding points have no cash value and are non-transferable.

4 About Kellogg's® Awesome Stuff

4.1 What is Awesome Stuff?

Awesome Stuff is a collection of items available for redemption using points. The items available and their point values are listed on the Awesome Stuff page. See How it Works for more details.

4.2 How long will Awesome Stuff be available?

Point collection for CARS 2 began April 6, 2011 and will continue through June 30, 2012, at 11:59 p.m. ET, or later if extended by Sponsor. You may begin redeeming your points on April 6, 2011, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET). Kellogg's® Awesome Stuff will end on June 30, 2012, at 11:59 p.m. ET, or later if extended by Sponsor, subject to promotion terms and conditions.

4.3 How do I know if I have enough points to redeem an item?

Your account balance will appear at the top left corner of each page. Each item provides the number of points needed to obtain.

If you have selected an item from the Awesome Stuff page but do not have enough points, a message will display indicating additional points are required for your item. For more details, see How it Works.

4.4 Can I use my Gas Cash® anywhere?

Please follow these 3 instructions to use the $5 Gas Cash.
  • Take your Prepaid Card to a participating retailer in the United States that accepts Visa®
  • Inform the cashier that you would like to make a CREDIT CARD purchase using your Visa® Prepaid Card. Not to exceed card value.
  • Do not use your card at an ATM machine or gas pump, it will not work. The card must be taken inside to an attendant for a gas purchase. The ATM machine may not return your card and it cannot be replaced.

5 Shipping and Fulfillment

5.1 Can I redeem Awesome Stuff and have them sent to someone else?

The mailing address in your account profile is the default address used. However, you can review and change your mailing address during the redemption process. Note that Awesome Stuff can be delivered only to U.S. street addresses, PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses.

5.2 Is there a limit to the number of items I can redeem with points in a day?

There is no daily limit. Please note items can only be redeemed for points available up to a maximum of 30 points total per program period. Redemptions can only be made one at a time.

5.3 How do I get my Awesome Stuff?

There are two types of items:
  1. Items redeemed by mail
  2. Items redeemed online

After collecting and entering your codes online, you can redeem points for CARS 2-inspired stuff. After you have redeemed points and ordered an item, you will receive a confirmation e-mail within 12 hours of your order. Do you have additional questions, check out the following information:

  • Confirmation e-mail: Please make sure you have added kelloggs@eprizefulfillment.com and KelloggsPromotions@epiinc.com to your 'safe sender' list. Contact Us if you have not received an e-mail within 12 hours. E-Mails are sent for completing an action (redemption, forgot password, update child's account, remove the child from the program) in the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program. If you ordered Concession Cash™, you can redeem your points for the item without the e-mail. Just follow these steps:

    • Log in to your account at http://CARS2.kelloggs.com/.
    • Select My Account located on the left side of the page and then select 'Full Transaction History.'
    • Locate the item you should have received an e-mail under ‘Description’. Your code can be found under 'Code' in the same line.
    • Enter the code using the link below. To redeem Concession Cash, please visit: http://kelloggrewards.com/C2/
  • Mail delivered items: For questions about receipt of items delivered by mail including the Spy Pen, $5 Gas Cash, Pocket Translator and Soccer Ball, click here.
  • Downloadable items: For questions about downloaded selections including the Screen Saver and Code Entry Desktop Widget, Contact Us.

5.4 When can I expect to receive my Awesome Stuff?

All orders placed will receive an e-mail confirmation within 12 hours. Please note: The confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address linked to your account. Please make sure you have added kelloggs@eprizefulfillment.com and KelloggsPromotions@epiinc.com to your 'safe sender' list. Contact Us if you have not received an e-mail within 12 hours. E-Mails are sent for completing an action (redemption, forgot password, update child's account, remove the child from the program) in the CARS 2 program.

  • Mail delivered Items including the Spy Pen, $5 Gas Cash, Pocket Translator and Soccer Ball will arrive within 90 days. You can also click here to check the status of your order.
  • If you ordered Concession Cash, digital codes are provided by a confirmation e-mail sent to the e-mail address linked to your account. If the e-mail is not received, you can obtain and redeem the code for your item without the e-mail. Log in to your account at http://CARS2.kelloggs.com/. Select My Account located on the left side of the page and then select 'Full Transaction History.' Locate the item you should have received an e-mail under 'Description.' Your code can be found under 'Code' in the same line. Enter the code using the link below. To redeem Concession Cash , please visit: http://kelloggrewards.com/C2.
  • Downloadable items (screen saver): You can download the item immediately by following the completed redemption process. Contact Us if you have questions about downloading these items.

5.5 Do I have to pay shipping and handling costs for Kellogg's® Awesome Stuff?

You will not be charged any shipping and handling for Kellogg's® Awesome Stuff.

You can print your redemption confirmation message at any time by visiting the My Account page, and viewing Details in the Transaction History.

5.6 Can you ship my Awesome Stuff item to a Post Office Box or APO/FPO address?

Items may be shipped to PO Box/APO/FPO addresses.

6 Items Available for Purchase

6.1 When will Awesome Stuff be available for purchase?

Awesome Stuff is currently not available for purchase. Please continue to check back as the purchase option will be available soon.

7 Desktop Widget

7.1 What is the desktop Widget?

The desktop 'Widget' allows you to enter your codes from a quick and easy program stored on your computer desktop. Once you've submitted the code(s), the associated number of points will be deposited into your account.

7.2 How do I get the desktop widget?

Once you log in to CARS 2, visit the Other Ways to Participate page. Follow these step by step instructions to successfully install the desktop widget (this widget requires Adobe Air® to install).

To install Adobe Air®:
  1. Visit the Adobe Air download page http://get.adobe.com/air/
  2. Select the 'Download Now' button
  3. When prompted, 'Save' the file to your desktop
  4. After download, open the AdobeAIRInstaller.exe from your desktop
  5. When prompted, 'Run' the AdobeAIRInstaller.exe file
  6. Agree to the Installer Setup
To install the desktop widget:
  1. Select the 'Download' button on the Other Ways to Participate page
  2. When prompted, 'Save' KelloggsWidget.air to the desktop
  3. After download, open KelloggsWidget.air file
  4. When prompted, 'Install' the file on the 'Are you sure you want to install this application on your computer?' (Please Note: the system access warning is a Microsoft applied warning that Windows does not recognize the Adobe Air file you are attempting to install. Due to the use of this file and our privacy policy, your file system will not be shared or stored)
  5. Adding the desktop icon is recommended
  6. Save the file to your 'Program Files'

7.3 The desktop widget has asked to install software on my computer. Should I allow it?

If you would like to have the desktop widget on your computer, you must download the software from the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program and install it on your computer. This program runs externally from the promotional site and needs to be saved to a computer to run.

The desktop widget will also request to install Adobe Air on your computer. Adobe Air is a certified Adobe product and allows your desktop widget to interact with My Account. If you have questions about Adobe Air, visit the Adobe website.

7.4 How do I enter my codes into the desktop widget?

First you will need to log in to the widget using your e-mail address and password from the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program. Once you log in, you will be able to enter 1 16-digit code at a time. After you enter your code and click 'Submit,' your account will add 1 point to your balance.

7.5 What if my desktop widget account balance doesn't seem accurate?

Please review the your account balance in My Account. Your 'Full Account History' will display all actions taken with your account. Each code is the equivalent of 1 point. If you believe after checking 'My Account' your account balance is not accurate, please select 'Refresh Balance' on the widget screen.

8 Mobile Site

8.1 How do I enter the mobile site?

Visit http://www.kelloggs.com/CARS2 on your mobile phone. Please note: All phones can display the promotional site, but only the iPhone, Android and Blackberry Torch can display the mobile designed site.

8.2 What can I do at the mobile site?

The mobile site is an abbreviated version of the computer website specifcally designed for ease of use on your applicable mobile phone. You may, login/register, enter codes, redeem points for Awesome Stuff and view your transaction history.

8.3 What if I have an iPhone, Android or Blackberry Torch and want to redeem Awesome Stuff?

You can link to the promotional site at any time in the footer of the mobile designed site. If you have already logged in to the mobile site, you be logged in to the promotional site. Contact Us if you have issues with changing the display on your phone.

8.4 How do I enter codes from the mobile site?

Log in to the Kellogg's® Passport to Adventure Program from a mobile phone listed in Section 8.1. Visit the Enter Codes page of the mobile site. Enter your 16-digit code printed on the inside back panel of the Kellogg's® package. 'Submit' the code.

8.5 My images are loading slowly. What should I do?

This is could be caused by your internet connection. Please check the loading status of your page. Also, wait for the page to load fully before submitting or submitting 'Back,' and only click 'Submit' once.

9 Technical Questions

9.1 What are browser cookies?

Cookies must be enabled to participate in this program. Browser cookies are small text files that are sent to your computer to store information. The Kellogg's® CARS 2 promotion uses cookies to keep track of information such as account registration and other pertinent details.

9.2 Do I need to have browser cookies turned on to participate?

Yes. If your browser is not set to accept cookies, you will not be able to participate in the program.
